My name is Dulcie. I became Muslim over a year ago, Mashallah. I have two children, my daughter is 16 and my son is 10. They are not Muslim. A typical day for me is work, soccer practice for my kids, soccer for me, cook dinner, gym, and Isha prayer at the mosque.
I’m a pretty simple person. I am however struggling with wearing my hijab. If that is a problem for you as a Muslim man, I understand. I realize it is more than a scarf. I love it, but it’s My Jihad. Please understand. I should and can be Muslim without it. Can’t I? My intention, is in my heart, my intention is to cover fully one day, inshallah. So there I am. Inshallah, I hope Allah has written for me a man that can love and accept me and my children for who we are. A humble man, not caught up in the dunyia.
